"We ordered Margherita and Spicy Vege pizzas and they were both excellent! The pizza dough was amazing and generous toppings. The young feller at the counter was friendly and offered us extra sauces at no charge, so we had a little harissa sauce on our Margherita. Yum, 5 stars!!"

"Delicious pizza! We walked to Firewood Pizza Haven from a nearby motel and ordered the Hawaiian and Gourmet Steak pizzas. The flavour of the Hawaiian was to die for, and the steak strips were incredibly tender! The staff were very friendly, and the chef was welcoming and even checked in on us during the meal. There’s a certification on the wall for authentic Italian pizza, and you can definitely taste the difference. If anything, a bit of background music could help add ambiance, and the tables and chairs weren’t the most stable or comfortable — but the food and service absolutely made up for that."

"We visited Pizza Haven for the first time and it definitely won’t be the last! The pizza was delicious – the crust was perfectly crispy while the dough inside stayed soft and chewy. We tried the Hawaiian and it was really good, savory, and such a great deal for the price. Truly a hidden gem! My partner had the burger and he really enjoyed it, and the jalapeño chippies were also a hit. Love that they are halal and also offer gluten-free options. Excited to come back soon – to many pizza bites we go! Ps clean as you go when you’re dining in! Big shoutout to the chef/owner as he was very quick and had the time to let his staff attend mass! Truly a nice environment to dine at!!!!"

Last night, I finally decided to order two pizzas and I was absolutely blown away. They offer HALAL options, and the beef pepperoni and BBQ chicken pizzas I tried were incredible. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. Each pizza was baked with love, filling the air with a mouthwatering aroma. The crust was perfectly tender and easy to enjoy, not too hard or salty, just right with a hint of charcoal-grilled flavor. The generous toppings and rich cheese made each bite a delight. It's no wonder this place has such high ratings, you can truly taste the freshness in every pizza, lovingly prepared by the family running the shop. It was heartwarming to see their family working together to serve me. I wholeheartedly recommend this pizza as the best in Mount Roskill."

We were so excited to eat, that we forgot to take photos of the yummy food:( Kids loved it and said it’s the best firewood pizza in Auckland. We’ve tried the garlic bread, loaded jalapeños fries, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza, and bbq chicken pizza. All was amazing. Very good proportion of herbs, cheese, ingredients and enough amount of dough, that’s cooked to perfection in their firewood oven. And their secret is in their tagline, specially when you meet the owners and see them work the magic in their kitchen, you’ll understand: “There are no secret ingredients, it’s all about love” Very highly recommended and definitely a very happy returning customer."
